Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term role within a welcoming and supportive primary school in Doncaster?
Academics are currently supporting a friendly primary school in Doncaster seeking a confident and capable HLTA to join their team on an ongoing basis, with potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

About the Role
As an Higher Level Teaching Assistant in Doncaster, you will support teaching and learning across the school by delivering pre-planned lessons, leading interventions, and supporting pupils both academically and emotionally.
You may provide whole-class cover during teacher absence or PPA time while also working closely with pupils who require additional support.
This role is ideal for a confident HLTA who enjoys variety, responsibility, and helping pupils achieve their full potential within a positive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead lessons during PPA cover and teacher absence * Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions across the curriculum * Support learning across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 where required * Promote positive behaviour, confidence, and engagement * Adapt learning activities to meet pupils' individual needs * Assist with classroom organisation and learning resources * Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff * Follow safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times
Candidate Requirements
* Level 4 HLTA qualification or degree qualification (essential) * Experience leading whole-class learning * Strong understanding of the primary curriculum * Excellent organisational and communication skills * Flexible and professional approach * Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
