Commercial Property Solicitor (7+ years')
A well-established Scottish firm is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Property Lawyer(7+ PQE) to join its Commercial Property team in Edinburgh. The firm is known for its discreet, personal approach and its work with a broad range of private clients, landowners, entrepreneurs, trustees and charitable organisations.
The Opportunity
You will handle a varied and high-quality commercial property caseload, including:
* Development options and land sales
* Planning agreements
* Sales, purchases and leases of commercial premises
* Retail, office, industrial, hospitality and leisure acquisitions
* Commercial contracts and property-related transactions
This role involves close collaboration with colleagues across property, tax, succession, business services, family, employment and litigation to ensure joined-up, holistic advice.
About You
You will bring:
* 7+ years' PQE with strong technical and practical commercial property experience
* The ability to manage a diverse workload with minimal supervision
* Strong commercial awareness and a client-focused mindset
* A collaborative, thoughtful approach and interest in mentoring others
* The discretion, empathy and relationship‑building skills needed to act as a trusted adviser
