Over the last 12 months we have made great progress in developing a new generation of products that will use cutting-edge technologies to drive our mission to transform eye care and are now looking for 4 x Manufacturing Engineers to continue the momentum, bringing your experience and ideas with you.
We would love it if you came from a medical devices, automotive or defence/aerospace background as these industries translate well to what we do and how we work.
Confident working cross-functionally, you will be a detail-oriented person with experience of introducing and assuring the manufacture of complex ophthalmic systems.
Day to day you will also be investigating manufacturing issues, defects, and non-conformities to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
You will also bring a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, welding, and surface treatment.
From an educational perspective, you will be degree qualified in in mechanical, industrial or manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
