Veritas Education are currently working with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Dewsbury area who are seeking a committed Religious Education Teacher to join their Humanities department. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or a strong ECT looking to develop their practice in a supportive environment.
About the Role
* Teaching RE across KS3-KS4
* Planning and delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
* Contributing to a positive learning environment where all students feel valued
* Assessing, tracking, and reporting student progress in line with school and DfE expectations
* Working collaboratively with the wider Humanities team
The School Is Looking For
* A passionate and knowledgeable RE specialist
* Someone with strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills
* A teacher who can inspire curiosity and respect for different beliefs and cultures
* A professional who upholds high standards in line with the DfE Teachers' Standards
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching RE in UK secondary schools
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
* Strong references covering the last two years
