Customer Service Associate job in Wimborne

Our client is recruiting a confident, proactive Customer Service Associate to join their Business Support team. This Customer Service Associate role will provide a first point of contact to customers. You’ll deliver outstanding customer service via telephone and email, process administrative transactions efficiently, and help customers use our online services.
You’ll handle administration, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and within agreed service levels. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
Salary and Benefits:

* Working Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Process department transactions efficiently, accurately, and within agreed service levels
* Adhere to procedures and compliance requirements
* Provide telephone and administration support
* Support customers using the online functionality and provide technical assistance where needed
* Provide support to the retention officer with customer contact, follow-up calls, etc.
* Produce reports and management information (MI) as required
* Identify and escalate risks, complaints, and customer dissatisfaction appropriately
* Manage own workload effectively to meet departmental service levels
* Handle telephone and face-to-face enquiries promptly and professionally
* Use initiative to identify and suggest process improvements
* Process new accounts
* Handle customer enquiries regarding payment or term changes
Minimum Skills and Experience Required:
* Proven track record in an administrative or customer service environment
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Good PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Willingness to work towards a Certificate in Retail Banking or CeMAP
* Desirable; Previous experience in finance administration
