About Inflow

ADHD can make daily life challenging, but accessing effective support shouldn't be. At Inflow, we're making ADHD care accessible through our comprehensive app that combines expert-led learning with practical tools and community support. We help people understand and work with their ADHD through bite-sized learning modules, guided journaling tools, live co-working sessions, and a supportive community. Since launching in April 2021, we've become the #1 ADHD management app, helping tens of thousands of people thrive with ADHD—and we're just getting started.

We are a fiercely ambitious team that thinks through everything from first principles and values logic over experience. In order to move fast, we learn fast. We believe in learning by doing, so we jump straight in. We say things as they are and believe success is driven by honesty. We're not afraid to be ourselves and while our mission is serious, we don't take ourselves too seriously.

About the role

We are seeking a hands-on Finance Director to join our leadership team on a part-time basis (3–4 days per week). In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the company's financial strategy, overseeing its financial health, and driving both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic initiatives. As a senior leader, you will provide commercial insights to support business decisions and help enhance our operational processes to support sustainable growth.

This role requires someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty with day-to-day financial operations - we're looking for a leader who is comfortable both with strategic oversight and tactical execution of financial processes.

Responsibilities

* Oversee and optimise operational functions of the business, driving strategic initiatives and process improvements
* Provide commercial expertise to support monetisation strategies and business growth opportunities

* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and unit economics analysis
* Manage the end-to-end financial process including management accounts and closing procedures
* Handle statutory and tax compliance globally with advisor support
* Oversee share option schemes with appropriate advisor input
* Manage treasury functions and FX considerations
* Contribute to the long-term business strategy as a key member of the leadership team
* Produce and present monthly/quarterly board reports with actionable insights
* Support Head of Growth and other cross-functional team members with financial guidance and commercial lens
* Manage financial compliance and risk mitigation across UK and US operations
* Develop and implement scalable financial systems and controls to support company growth

Job requirements - Must haves

* Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent with at least 2-3 years post-qualification experience
* 2+ years in-house financial leadership experience
* Strong understanding of business operations and strategic planning
* Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
* Entrepreneurial mindset that balances strategic vision with tactical execution
* Comfort with big-picture thinking while also being willing to dive into details when needed
* Understanding of the fast-paced nature of founder-led startups/scale-ups, balancing structure with flexibility
* Ability to work in a remote-friendly environment with a collaborative approach

Job requirements - Nice to haves

* 2+ years experience at an early-stage startup
* Experience in D2C (direct-to-consumer) business models or subscription-based/SaaS business models
* Experience managing financial operations across US parent and UK subsidiary structures
* Experience working in an investor backed business
* Experience in healthtech or mental health sectors
* Experience working in a venture backed business

What we can offer

* Rest up with 25 days’ vacation per year (pro-rata)
* The opportunity to positively impact the lives of those with ADHD
