We are looking for a Sous Chef and we are working with a leading Contract Catering company for Private Education site in Reading, this operation caters for both daily feeding as well as boarders.
YOU WILL NEED YOUR OWN TRANSPORT FOR THIS ROLE DUE TO LOCATION
This is primarily a Monday to Friday role but some weekends will be required - approx 16-17 per year. The shift pattern will be 6.30am to 4pm or 11am to 8pm depending on your weekly rota.
The Sous will support the Head Chef and work in a kitchen team of around 7-8 so will need good management skills and communication skills. You will be working on a 3 weekly rotating menu and ensure all food prepared and presented to the required high standards
The kitchen will cater for around 100 for breakfast, 400 for lunch and 150 for dinner per day for both students and staff, there will also be hospitality events and functions as required. The Sous Chef will need experience in cooking for large numbers on a daily basis. A Hotel background with Banqueting experience would also be well suited to this role.
If you are an enthusiastic Sous with Education or large volume Experience then
