The role will support with the day to day finance tasks and other ad-hoc tasks that have arisen due to the additional workload in relation to various changes in the business. This is suited to a hands on controller with a broad skillset.

Description
The key responsibilities within this role:
* Role will backfill some of the existing teams tasks to enable the team to focus on the changes within the business.
* There will also be ad-hoc tasks so adaptability is key
* FC2, Budget, Completion Accounts, 3YP and Year End during June - Sept
* Quick learner and ability to hit the ground running
* Extensive balance sheet knowledge including forecasting the balance sheet, reconciling the statutory cash to the physical cash
* Experience of forecast/budget models such as Trade Creditors/Debtors where they take inputs e.g. intake and convert into cash
* Ensuring controls are maintained on the balance sheet - due to the number of changes in the business this will be ensuring they do not have any issues/builds on the balance sheet
* Experience of cashflow, both statutory and physical
Profile
The ideal candidate:
* A full and recognised accountancy qualification (ACA,ACCA,CIMA)
* Experience of working in a change environment where flexibility is key
* Will have a mix of commercial and technical skills and the ability to be hands on and in the detail
* Prior experience of working in a retail or FMCG environment is highly advantageous
Job Offer
A day rate of between £400-500 per day depending on experience (inside IR35). This role requires someone available immediately and that is able to commit to 3 days a week on-site in Swindon.
