Driver Hire Uxbridge are recruiting for 7.5 tonne Multi-drop Delivery Drivers for our clients based within UB postcode areas (Uxbridge/Southall/ Hayes/West Drayton etc)
PLEASE NOTE ALL ROLES ARE ON A TEMPORARY ADHOC BASIS – SHIFTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED
PAYE £16.00 to £19.00 per hour (including holiday pay)

Type of shifts (depending on company):
6. Multi drop deliveries in and around M25
7. Delivering catering equipment, printers, electrical supplies, piping, flooring etc
8. Deliver and collect tool / plant hire and construction equipment
9. Scaffolding deliveries/collections
10. Shifts are mainly during the week, day shifts, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends)
11. Start times can vary between 5:30 and 8am
All-round Duties:
12. Complete deliveries correctly and efficiently, in a professional and timely manner
13. Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
14. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fuel levels, tyre pressure, and fluid levels
15. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
16. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements:
17. Valid UK CAT C1 licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN)
18. Valid CPC
19. A manual driving licence
20. At least 1-year experience as a 7.5T driver / LGV / HGV (references required)
21. Have more than 90 days appropriate driving experience (Cat C1) in the past 12 months
22. You must be over the age of 25 years (insurance purposes)
23. Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting
24. Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
25. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
Rates of pay:
26. We pay for a minimum of 10 hours a day (breaks are not paid)
27. PAYE £16.00 to £19.00 per hour (including holiday pay)
