We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Oxford, United Kingdom. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef and sous chef
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and timely food preparation
Uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in your section
Assist in inventory management and stock rotation for your station
Participate in quality control measures, ensuring consistent taste and presentation of dishes
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, Commis Chef, or in a similar culinary role
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices
Demonstrated proficiency in using professional kitchen equipment and tools
Keen attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
Knowledge of menu planning and food cost control
Creative mindset with a passion for culinary innovation
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
