Job Details
We are looking for a committed Attendance Support Officer to provide comprehensive support in a confidential manner on attendance management issues within the service to encourage early intervention and provide appropriate support for pupils. To develop positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff and other services, building pupil confidence, and enhancing their ability to learn. As an Attendance Support Officer, you will assist in the promotion of school policies such as Relationship and Behaviour Management, Anti-Bullying and Attendance. This will involve: Building relationships with pupils based on trust and
respect.
Patrolling school buildings and premises to provide an adult presence.

Qualification, Registration and Skill Requirements
Experience of working with young people (Taking Ownership – See How We Work Matters Framework)
Educated to SCQF level 4. An ability to establish good working relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.
Time and workload management skills
Ability to provide a regular and effective Service
Before confirming to your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
