First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer on behalf of one of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Mechanical Engineering Lecturer:
As an Engineering Lecturer, you’ll deliver engaging, hands-on learning experiences to apprentices and adult learners. This role is primarily classroom-based, guiding learners through topics such as:
1. Mechanical principles & engineering maths.
2. Engineering science & design.
3. Fluid mechanics & CAD.
4. Health & safety and lean manufacturing.
5. Professional engineering management.
6. Production engineering.
7. Quality and process improvements.
8. Supervising level 3 & 4 engineering projects and level 5 research projects.
Skills and Qualifications for the Mechanical Engineering Lecturer:
9. A degree in engineering or a related field.
10. Significant industry experience.
11. Strong technical and IT skills.
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
13. A genuine passion for teaching and developing others.
14. Teaching experience is not required as full training and support will be provided.
15. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
16. All successful candidates must pass a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Location: Hull
Salary: £40,990 – £43,402 pert annum
