Management Accountant (part time, temp to perm contract)

We are seeking a Management Accounts professional for a 6 month temporary role, with the strong possibility of a permanent position. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing management reports, and supporting month-end accounting processes.
Key Duties:
* Take ownership of month end close activities and maintain up to date financial records
* Produce management information and internal financial reports
* Liaise with external accountants to support statutory and year-end reporting
* Review data, investigate inconsistencies, and implement corrections where required
* Use Sage 50 for day to day accounting and Excel for reporting and reconciliations
About You:
* AAT Level 3 qualified or qualified through relevant experience
* Strong background in management accounting and month-end processes
* Comfortable working with Sage 50 and Excel
* Able to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt to business needs
* Detail oriented with a problem solving mindset
Contract Details:
* Approximately 24 hours per week
* Flexible working pattern (spread across the week or condensed into fewer days)
* Fully office based role in Rotherham
