Overview
This is a training programme with career placement and fees apply. It is designed for individuals with none or limited experience who want to start a career in computer programming or web development. The programme helps you gain industry-recognised certifications, market yourself with a structured CV and LinkedIn profile, and build a credible portfolio to demonstrate your skills to potential employers.
We have years of experience helping graduates find their first roles in top UK companies and organisations. The programme is flexible and can be completed in a timeframe that suits you, with study timings approximate and subject to your available time.
Stage 1 – Learn HTML and CSS (up to 12 weeks)
The first step is completing a selection of professional and industry-recognised courses carefully chosen to maximise your learning and employment outcomes.
* HTML Essentials (up to 6 weeks)
* CSS Essentials (up to 6 weeks)
Training is delivered through multimedia video tutorials, presentations and quizzes via an online portal. You will be assigned an expert tutor and a support mentor for 1-on-1 or group sessions.
After completing the HTML & CSS courses, your trainer will move you forward to the next stage.
Stage 2 – Additional Online Training (up to 12 weeks)
The second stage includes more advanced courses to prepare you for entry-level programming roles and help you get a step ahead.
* Learn the Command Line (1.5 weeks)
* Learn Git & GitHub (1.5 weeks)
* Learn JavaScript (1.5 weeks)
* Learn Python 3 (1.5 weeks)
JavaScript forms the foundation of much of the web, and Python is a versatile language used across many industries.
Stage 3 – Portfolio Website Project (1 week)
You will work on exercises to build your personalised portfolio, which demonstrates your range of skills and abilities. Completion of additional study courses for continued development is voluntary but recommended.

Stage 4 – Entry Level Coding Placement
You will be supported to secure your first role utilising your new coding, programming or web development skills. Entry-level roles typically start between £25K - £40K depending on prior knowledge or experience.
