Our client, a well-regarded property firm, is seeking a Land Assistant to support their Land Director in day-to-day operations. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to learn the land and acquisition process from the ground up.
No prior experience is required, just enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Some knowledge of property or land would be helpful, but full training will be given.
The successful Land Assistant will be offered:
1. £25,000 basic salary
2. Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm (no weekends!)
3. Use of a pool car for site visits
4. Full training and support from an experienced Land Director

As a Land Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
6. Assisting the Land Director with daily tasks and project research
7. Learning how to identify, assess, and track land opportunities
8. Helping to prepare reports, letters, and other documentation
9. Supporting communication with landowners, agents, and consultants
10. Attending site visits and meetings as needed (pool car provided)
To be considered for the Land Assistant role, you will need:

12. Eagerness to learn and grow within the land and new homes sector
13. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
14. Good written and verbal communication skills
15. Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
16. Must hold a full UK driving licence
17. Professional and proactive attitude
18. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
19. Some experience in property, planning, or land (helpful but not essential)
