Senior Residential Support Worker

Join us as a Senior Residential Support Worker and make a significant impact on the lives of children. This role is ideal for someone who is determined, caring, and resilient, with a clear pathway into management positions. If you have experience in residential childcare and are looking for a leadership role that allows you to contribute positively to children's development and well-being, this opportunity is for you.

Day-to-day of the role:
* Engage with a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.
* Create positive relationships with children, meeting their needs and safeguarding them at all times.
* Teach life skills to help children build self-esteem and accept themselves, aiding their journey into adulthood.
* Lead shifts and supervise staff, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
* Manage rotas and ensure that placement plans are followed and education is supported.
* Provide guidance and support to all residential workers and ensure the welfare and care of each child.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Must be 22 years of age or above (to meet Ofsted regulations).
* NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce.
* At least 2 years of experience within residential childcare and working alongside young people.
* Valid manual driving license.
* Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Performance-related bonuses: £100 for a 'Good' Ofsted outcome and £200 for 'Outstanding'.

* 224 hours holiday, increasing to 248 hours after 4 years.
