You will lead the mechanical design for large-scale data centres, ensuring maximum efficiency, reliability, and cooling performance. Role Overview Location: London, Birmingham, or Bristol (Hybrid). Basis: Full-time, Permanent. Focus: Critical Cooling, HVAC, BMS, and Sustainability in Data Centres.Key Responsibilities As a Senior Engineer, you aren’t just overseeing—you are doing. You will be responsible for: Hands-on Design: Producing detailed mechanical design packages, including cooling systems, ventilation, and pipework layouts. System Architecture: Designing high-density cooling solutions, such as CRAC/CRAH units, Chilled Water Systems, and Indirect Evaporative Cooling. Technical Calculations: Performing heat load calculations, CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis, and psychrometric charting to ensure thermal stability. Innovation: Implementing sustainable designs to improve PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) and reduce carbon footprints.
