Band 6 Occupational Therapist Acute Inpatient Services

Contract: Temporary
Hours: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible weekend work may be required)
Our client is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their dynamic team in Crewe. This role involves working within an acute inpatient setting supporting patients through their recovery journey and ensuring safe timely discharges.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality occupational therapy interventions within an acute inpatient environment.
* Support discharge planning and ensure effective pathways for patient transitions.
* Contribute to admission avoidance strategies working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
* Deliver patient-centered care adapting to individual needs and goals.
* Participate in weekend and extended hours (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) subject to discussion.
Requirements
* HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
* Proven experience in acute inpatient care.
* Strong understanding of discharge pathways and admission avoidance.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
