Overview
Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is part of a community of Diagnostics Companies. The European Program Manager for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics will develop a Project Management Office for Europe. The successful candidate will provide strategic guidance and standard work to regional Project Managers for timely and on-budget delivery of implementation projects. The PMO will enable a common view and risk assessment of all European implementation projects and share best practices across countries. The role focuses on the successful implementation of complex solutions into healthcare laboratories across Europe and cross-functional European projects delivering continuous improvement for Beckman and its customers. This position is remote within Europe, with preference given to the UK and Italy. Beckman Coulter’s vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
Responsibilities
* Create standard work for planning program design, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and applying countermeasures using Danaher Business Systems (DBS).
* Coordinate, chair, and document Program meetings; share best practices across Europe.
* Measure and report project progress, including the risk management process across Europe.
* Ensure successful internal/external customer events by installing and ensuring compliance with DBS tools.
* Act as an escalation point within nominated Programs.
Essential Requirements
* Recognized, formal Program Management Qualification or equivalent.
* Experience as a Program Manager handling large, complex programs and projects, including physical installations and service implementations.
* Program & Project governance experience, with ability to maintain documentation and operate within a matrix environment.
* Excellent communication and English skills; able to write meeting minutes and respond to tender questions.
* Consultative skills; ability to handle conflicts and operate at executive and associate levels.
* Travelling up to 50% may be required.
Nice to Have
* Proficiency in multiple European languages; Italian preferred.
* Previous experience in the Diagnostics Industry.
