* Salary: £26,070 per annum
* Hours: 36 hours per week
* Contract: Permanent
Action Homeless is committed to ending the cycle of homelessness and the Safety and Response Officers play a vital role in ensuring everyone has a decent and safe place to call home.
This fantastic opportunity will see you support our services, to maintain the safety for our clients and security of our properties.
As a Safety And Response Officer You Will
* Respond to any emergency situations that occur
* Provide a welcoming, responsive and proactive presence to our customers and visitors ensuring their safety and the safety of the buildings is upheld.
* Carry out checks and regular patrols of the buildings, responding to any incidents and involving emergency services as and when is necessary.
* Monitor and operate our CCTV systems across multiple sites and our door entry systems
* Responsible for Health and Safety inspection whilst on duty, taking action when required and for implementing fire and fire alarm procedures including evacuation
To Be Successful You Required
* An approachable manner with the ability to remain calm.
* Ability to operate CCTV systems and security equipment
* Ability to operate smart phone technology and use ICT equipment for completion of reports and records
* Understand Health and Safety
* Ability to work as part of team but be as equally comfortable working alone
* Clear communication skills and the ability to manage time and prioritise
* Must be able to drive and have access to own vehicle
