A proven project management background and thorough knowledge of Hospitality systems and deployment methodology. You will regularly be involved in escalation and crisis management and should be confident in dealing with people at all levels. You will need to have a proven track record of solution sourcing and be able to demonstrate strong technical understanding. Position Statement\: As the Senior Manager GDCM Technical Projects you will play a pivotal role in driving the Deployment Communications strategy and lead hotel level technical projects and programs for GDCM. You will Champion specific technical projects and manage a global team of managers, associates and subject matter experts to Hilton’s commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for guest, team members and owners. Although our preference is to base this position out of our European Corporate Headquarters in Watford, we are open to applicants living elsewhere in the UK Position Summary: Success in this role will be demonstrated through your ability to manage complex projects, collaborate across functions, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation and ownership groups. You will be able to demonstrate experience of managing a team of people and have a good understanding of technology standards and Deployment methodology. There are 4 key areas of responsibility: • Manage FLA Assist for EMEA and APAC Regions – a key area of project management, escalation & technology guidance for Franchise properties • Oversee global deployment of specific technical and financial projects • Maintain oversight of technical reporting tools for GDCM • Manage technology contracting & licensing process for International Hotels Direct Reports: • Manager GDCM Deployment Comms • Sr Associate GDCM Deployment Comms x 2 • Associate GDCM Deployment Comms x 2 Key Business Partnerships: You will need to foster strong relationships with Management companies, hotel General Managers and ownership groups for the ~600 hotels you support. You will work hand in hand with corporate teams such as Technology Standards, Support, Payments, Information Security and the wider GDCM team. You will also be part of the Deployment Comms senior leadership team.
