Job Title: Key Account Manager – Packaging
Salary: up to £40,000 pa (depending on experience)
Our client provides an array of packaging services to a vast range of customers, from SMEs to organisations on a multi‑national level. They are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Key Account Manager to join their team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, as this role will have a strong emphasis on managing existing accounts and building relationships whilst also identifying new sales opportunities. Proficiency in software tools, particularly CRM, is essential for managing leads and tracking performance.
Duties
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
* Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
* Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients, showcasing products and services.
Requirements
* Proven experience in business development or sales within the packaging industry
* Strong understanding of sales principles and practices, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
* Proficiency in software applications, particularly CRM systems, for managing customer relationships and tracking sales activities.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
* A proactive approach to problem‑solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
