About the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Service Manager to join our team in NHS Northumberland Talking Therapies. We are looking for an experienced person to provide support to the Service Manager with operational leadership of the service. The Deputy Service Manager will be responsible for supporting the Service Manager and Clinical Lead in the planning, development and delivery of a high quality, responsive and accessible NHS Talking Therapies service. You will work with the Service Manager in operational, financial and workforce management, identifying best practice and demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement. You will develop positive relationships with key stakeholders, delivering contract reports to our commissioners and ensuring that NHS Northumberland Talking Therapies remains a respected and valued partner within the changing mental health landscape. About you To be successful in this role, you will need to take responsibility for the management of service delivery on a day to day basis, managing this in accordance with contracts to meet specified outcomes. You should have experience in contract management, working to KPIs and managing staff. Working with internal and external stakeholders, you will attend meetings on behalf of the service and be confident in presenting.
