Job Description:
The Procurement Consultant will report to an established Sustainable Procurement lead.
You will help the consultancy’s clients meet their social and environmental targets by orienting their procurement operations towards net zero and better environmental and social outcomes across multiple projects.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Provide sustainable procurement support across multiple projects, helping clients improve environmental, social, and economic outcomes.
* Deliver and enhance clients’ environmental performance and meet sustainability targets.
* Support the development of sustainable procurement services.
* Assist in business development for sustainable procurement.
* Contribute to team and company-wide targets.
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience with one or more of the following is desirable but not essential:
* Embedding sustainability into procurement activities
* Supply chain management
* Contract negotiation and management
* Carbon footprint calculations
* Sustainability metrics formulation
Core skills include end-to-end procurement, supply chain management, and contract management, including strategies for major capital projects, supplier evaluation, and negotiation.
Qualifications/Educational Requirements
* A degree related to construction, civil engineering, quantity surveying, law, or procurement is preferred.
* CIPS Level 4 qualification or willingness to work towards it.
