The Role
We’re currently seeking a skilled and passionate Dog Stylist / Groomer to join our busy, vibrant salon. In this hands-on role, you’ll take the lead on grooming appointments, delivering high-quality grooms with care, precision, and a personal touch. You’ll be interacting with pet owners daily, so strong communication and customer service skills are a must. As a Stylist, you’ll help ensure pets look and feel great, with support for your growth through training and development opportunities, including Earn as You Learn programmes and additional skill-based pay enhancements.
Responsibilities
* Be experienced, qualified and confident in all aspects of dog grooming, including bathing and drying, breed-specific styling and finishing
* Hold a grooming qualification
* Provide a customer-focused, friendly and professional service
* Work a variable schedule across six days a week (minimum 24 hours/week, with potential for more during busy periods)
* Be team oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced retail environment
* Work in a target-led environment (experience preferred but not essential)
Qualifications
* Experienced, qualified and confident in all aspects of dog grooming
* Grooming qualification
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Flexible and reliable with a willingness to work varying hours
* Team player with a proactive approach to learning
