As a Support Worker, you’ll have the opportunity to enhance your own life and career while making a positive impact on others. This is a brand new supported living service in Sandwich, and we have high expectations for our staff. You will receive comprehensive training locally before you start supporting individuals.
Shift Patterns: Flexibility is key! This is a 24-hour service, so you’ll work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends. We’re open to discussing flexible options like nights only, weekends only, or part-time hours.
Your Role and Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
* Be patient, understanding, and confident in your approach.
* Use mindful language when communicating, ensuring honesty and consistency.
* Support individuals in living fulfilling lives.
* Collaborate with specialists in multi-disciplinary teams, including Occupational Therapists and Social Workers.
While your primary focus may be on one individual, you may occasionally support others in need. Rest assured, you will receive the necessary training to provide effective support to everyone in our care.
This flexible approach fosters a collaborative, team-focused, and person-centered environment, ensuring everyone receives the care they deserve.
