Pay Rate: 32,000

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. We're looking for a full-time, Transport Planner to join us at our site in Hull. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.
What you'll do on a typical day:
* Managing Daily Computer Systems: Overseeing transport operations and ensuring systems run smoothly.
* Customer Service Liaison: Communicating with customer services to ensure seamless operations.
* Driver Support: Assisting drivers with daily queries and challenges.
* Route Planning and Dispatch: Organizing and optimizing driver routes for efficient service delivery.

What you need to succeed with our client:
* Previous transport experience.
* Having a full UK driving licence is preferred as the hours may be outside of public transport.
* Basic understanding of driver hours and planning. Knowledge of driver working hours, schedules, and regulations.
* Good knowledge of computer systems
* Great customer service skills
