JOB DESCRIPTION
Wood is recruiting a Control Room Operator for ENI Douglas, mobilising out of Blackpool.
Responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the installation's production, DCMS, F&G systems, and processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. The safe, efficient, and effective operation of the installation.
2. Delivery of on-specification hydrocarbon exports.
3. The safe production of hydrocarbons in accordance with company business needs, production plans, and targets.
4. Operate and manage ESD & FGS systems and associated cause and effects (C&E) to respond appropriately to alarms.
5. Ensure all procedures for the application and use of inhibits and overrides are followed at all times.
6. Issue, control, and administer the installation's Permit to Work and related documentation systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
7. Interface as needed with other Operations Team members, oncoming shift personnel, the Operations support Team, and other relevant personnel regarding documentation and plant/equipment preparation for maintenance.
8. Adjust production rates as necessary or required.
9. Monitor and oversee planned and unplanned shutdowns and start-ups via the central control panel, ensuring plant and personnel safety.
10. Minimize production loss due to shutdowns.
11. Identify and operate at the optimum process parameters for the installation.
12. Understand the work plan and execute work safely and on time.
13. Administer site audit systems.
14. Maintain various electronic business systems.
15. Provide local support to Head Office projects and Asset Support Team initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training course.
* OGUK medical.
* Relevant NVQ/Qualifications.
* MIST.
* Oil in Water Analysis.
* Pigging.
* Small Bore Tubing to Stage 3.
* Authorised Gas Tester.
* Permit to work system awareness (preferably ISSoW).
* Computerised planned maintenance system (preferably SAP).
* STOP and/or Synergi awareness or equivalent.
* Manual handling.
