I am currently recruiting for a Merchandiser. You will be responsible for planning, forecasting and trading for specific season product lines. Supporting the Senior Merchandiser to ensure continued growth in the department.
Some of your key responsibilities will include;
* Building reports to generate efficiencies
* Building relationships with internal teams to continuously develop & optimise product lines.
* Maximising both Sales & margins ensuring stock requirement achieved
* Responsible for managing and updating the Critical Path process for initial orders and rebuys
* Reviewing daily & weekly trading reports to reduce stock risks
* Responsibility for stock management to increase sales & reduce obsolete stock.
* Collating figures and updating the senior Management team regularly
* Working cross functionally with warehousing, shipping, finance & sales teams to optimise sales and margin, while ensuring high levels of professionalism are achieved.
Key requirement for the role;
* Previous experience within a Retail Merchandising environment
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively at all levels.
* Ability to work under pressure with proven problem-solving skills.
* Strong numeracy skills and ability to analyse & collate info from various sources.
* Commercially aware and business focussed.
* Able to manage & motivate your team to achieve both individual and team goals.
* Excellent understanding of all MS Office products especially Excel
* Own car and full driving license
