Micheldever Tyres Services are looking for a reliable FP & A Analyst to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial FP & A, we are looking for someone who can drive budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes, as well as delivering clear and insightful analysis.

Must be: ACA / ACCA / CIMA Finalist / Part qualified or above
Hours: Monday to Friday – 2 days in the office (Monday & Thursday), 3 days from home. May vary during month end.

About the role:
1. Assisting the Head of Commercial FP&A in building and maintaining the budget/forecast model through the quarterly budgeting cycles.
2. Utilising the FP&A reporting software ‘Tagetik’ and be the Wholesale expert, building and developing reports that enhance the business’ understanding of their operations
3. Having the ability to provide P & L Analysis, working closely with the Operational Finance team.
4. Help facilitate monthly P&L Wholesale Review meeting with senior stakeholders, explaining key movements and drivers as well as producing a clear list of action
5. Support the Business partner regional management on reporting and modelling needs
6. Be the expert in delivering insight and support to the wider finance team
7. Provide support and training to the Wholesale team on various finance systems, including Dynamic 365 and Microsoft Excel.
About you:
8. Have practical experience of accounting / FP/A industry / practice
9. Comfortable explaining financial information to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and engaging way
10. Positive attitude to change and willing to challenge existing processes
11. Able to deliver consistently against deadlines
12. Proactive, resilient, driven and able to work under own initiative.
13. Strong IT skills, including Excel
14. Previous experience in Retail or Wholesale business

Today, Micheldever Group is the fastest growing wholesaler, distributor and retailer of tyres in the UK, selling six million tyres nationwide, (20 percent of the total UK market) and employing approximately 2100 employees company wide.
To support this business, we have built a wholesale distribution network of 14 sites around the UK supplying over 6,000 retailers and our own retail chain Protyre which is consistently growing. This is achieved by skilled, focused and determined teams across 1 central distribution and 13 warehouse operations nationwide.
