gtd healthcare is one of the largest NHS commissioned Primary and Urgent care providers in North West England. Our People Services (HR) Team has grown year on year, and in order to continue providing an excellent people service to our business, we are looking to recruit a People Advisor.
This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join us in continuing to strengthen our people services function whilst allowing the successful candidate to make the role their own.
The People Advisor will report into the Senior People Business Partner and will be responsible for providing excellent generalist people advice to their designated business areas, whilst working on business-wide projects and initiatives.
It is essential for the successful candidate to be CIPD qualified, and to possess a good standard of written and oral communication skills, including GCSE English qualifications. Its also required that applicants will have a driving license to support travel to various sites.

As a People Advisor, your duties and responsibilities will include:
* Provide expert advice and guidance to employees and line managers on diverse HR matters, ensuring full alignment with company policy, procedures, and best practice.
* Act as the first point of contact for all employee relations, managing disciplinary, grievance, and performance processes from start to finish, ensuring adherence to company policy, best practice, and ensuring equitable outcomes.
* Partner with managers to navigate high volume and complex sickness absence cases, ensuring compliance with the Equality Act and facilitating Occupational Health referrals as required.
* Lead on consultations, contractual variations, and redundancy procedures in line with employment legislation during service restructures and TUPE transfers.
* Proactively review and refine HR policies to reflect current employment law, case law developments, and evolving business needs.
* Analyse exit interview trends and attrition metrics to develop proactive retention initiatives in collaboration with the People Operations team.
* Ensure rigorous GDPR compliance across all employee data processing and oversee the centralised recording of compliance and health records.
* Oversee the end-to-end management of maternity, paternity, and adoption cases, ensuring seamless coordination between employees, managers, and payroll.
