We are looking for a Electrical Engineering to join our Commercial Property Maintenance team in London.
What you'll do:
1. Maintenance & Fault Resolution: Perform daily servicing of electrical infrastructure, conduct breakdown repairs on M&E systems, and carry out fault finding, plant adjustments, inspections, and contract‑compliant maintenance tasks.
2. Planned & Reactive Work: Deliver PPMs, planned maintenance, reactive tasks, and extra works within SLAs and engineering standards, in line with HASAWA and company procedures.
3. Safety & Compliance: Work in accordance with Safe Systems of Work, support subcontractor inductions, ensure safe working practices, and comply with Health & Safety policies and Skanska IFE requirements.
4. Documentation & Reporting: Complete daily worksheets, maintenance records, inspection documentation, and produce technical incident reports when required.
5. Support & Flexibility: Assist or deputise for the Working Supervisor, undertake additional tasks as directed, and participate in the on‑call rotation.
What you'll bring to the role:
6. Technical Qualifications & Knowledge: NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), BMS experience, and understanding of statutory compliance for HVAC and Water Treatment.
7. Health & Safety Awareness: IOSH Working Safely (or similar) and strong understanding of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
8. Communication & Customer Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities with proven experience in customer‑facing roles.
9. Workstyle & Problem‑Solving: Able to work independently or within a team, with strong time‑management skills and evidence‑based logical problem‑solving capability.
10. Professional Attributes: Adaptable to change, with the ability to apply compliance knowledge effectively within key responsibility areas.
