Key Stage 3 Teacher - SEN (SEMH)

Full-time | Permanent / Long-term MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)
Tempest Resourcing is proud to be working with a specialist SEN provision in Surrey supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The school caters for students who require a highly supportive, structured, and therapeutic learning environment to help them re-engage with education.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Key Stage 3 Teacher to make a genuine impact on young people who benefit from smaller class sizes, personalised learning approaches, and strong pastoral support.

The Role
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to Key Stage 3 students
* Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of SEN and SEMH needs
* Foster a positive and safe learning environment
* Support students' emotional development alongside academic progress
* Work closely with support staff, pastoral teams, and senior leaders
* Contribute to behaviour management and individual support plans
Ideal Candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Key Stage 3 (mainstream or SEN settings)
* Strong understanding of SEMH needs and behaviour management strategies
* Resilient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
* Ability to build positive relationships with students who may have complex needs
Requirements
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Right to work in the UK
* References covering the last 2 years
