Legal Counsel – Commercial Focus

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join a dynamic and growing organisation operating in the global energy sector. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to take ownership of legal matters and work closely with senior leadership.
Role Overview
You will provide comprehensive legal support across the business, including:
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements (including project agreements, collaboration agreements, NDAs, and supply chain contracts).
* Advising on governance matters and preparing Board documentation.
* Ensuring compliance with statutory obligations and internal policies (GDPR, anti-bribery, tax compliance).
* Managing contract administration and maintaining efficient processes.
* Overseeing intellectual property matters, including assignments and licences.
* Advising on HR policies and procedures.
* Handling litigation and dispute resolution as required.
* Staying up to date with relevant legislation and regulatory changes.
About You
* Qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE, gained in-house or in private practice.
* Strong experience in commercial contracts and ideally some IP.
* High level of commercial awareness and ability to operate in a regulated environment.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including at Board level.
* Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
