* You will be working an average of 35 hours per week, over 4 days. This role is shift-based and includes early starts, late finishes, weekends, and bank holiday working. Earliest start time 04:15am and late finish time 2105pm.
* You must be able to arrange your own transport to ensure timely arrival for early and late shifts.
* Applicants must be over 18 years of age
* Employment is subject to Right to Work and DBS checks, and where applicable, a medical assessment
* This role has the following salary progression: starting salary £24,464, after 6 months of service £25,435, then 12 months £26,471 and a final salary at 24 months £29,429 per annum.

We are looking for a Ticket Office Clerk to become the friendly face of Greater Anglia at Norwich station. In the role you will be delivering exceptional customer service while helping passengers travel smoothly and safely. Full training provided and uniform provided
Key Responsibilities
* Selling Tickets and other products like rail cards.
* Covering Ticket Vending Machine
* Reporting any faults and issues promptly
* Assisting passengers with tickets, including general advice.
* Providing the highest possible standard of advice, information and service to our customers
* Delivering a safe, attractive retail station environment, with general cleaning.
* Promoting all relevant marketing materials and usefulinformation
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
We’re Looking for Candidates Who:
* Have a friendly, approachable demeanour with the ability to communicate effectively
* Are calm under pressure, able to think on their feet, and able to handle various situations
* Possess a “can-do” attitude and enjoy working as part of a team
* Take pride in providing top-notch customer service and passionate in ensuring customer safety
* Have team spirit and bring your unique self to strengthen our team and foster a positive work environment
* Have familiarity using new technology such as smartphones to assist customers.
* Knowledge of ticket types would be beneficial

With a team of around 3,000 colleagues, we operate 134 stations throughout Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk. Greater Anglia also operate Stansted Express services between London Liverpool Street and Stansted Airport.
