We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Lab Technician to work across secondary schools in Cheshire West. This role is essential in supporting the smooth delivery of science lessons by preparing equipment, maintaining laboratory spaces, and ensuring health and safety standards are met.
You will work closely with science teachers and departments to support practical experiments across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, helping to create a safe and effective learning environment for both staff and pupils.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a scientific background who enjoys working behind the scenes to support high-quality teaching and learning.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have experience working in a laboratory or school science department
• Be highly organised and able to manage resources effectively
• Have a good understanding of health and safety procedures
• Support practical science lessons across KS3–KS5 (as required)
• Have a strong understanding of safeguarding in an educational setting
