Senior Business Support Officer | 9453 | Fixed Term Contract to 31.12.2027 | 37 hours per week | £26,403 to £28,142 per annum | (Grade E) | County Hall, Norwich
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Business Officer to join the central recruitment team within Adult Social Services, Business Support. This role supports operational managers with recruitment, including raising requisitions for advertising, collating applications, scheduling and booking interviews, collecting information for job offers, supporting pre‑employment checks such as DBS checks, data collation and reporting. You will collaborate with the HR function to ensure an efficient end‑to‑end recruitment process for Norfolk County Council and our operational managers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Raising requisitions for advertising.
* Collating applications and scheduling interviews.
* Collecting information required for job offers.
* Supporting pre‑employment checks including DBS.
* Data collation and reporting.
* Collaborating with HR to streamline recruitment.
* Providing ad‑hoc support and project work for other Business Support teams.
The successful candidate will be organised, able to multitask and manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously, prioritise under pressure, be a problem‑solver with excellent communication skills, and have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. Flexibility is required, with a willingness to reprioritise workloads to meet urgent needs.
NCC works in a hybrid model, providing some time working from home and some from the office.
