Working alongside the Head Chef, you'll lead a team of 28, with support from a Team Leader, assisting your Manager to ensure we are commercially successful by analyzing and identifying opportunities, setting stretching targets, and consistently delivering exceptional service.
You will have delegated responsibilities for scheduling, training, and developing your direct line team, embedding Food & Beverage Standards and Values of the Trust. As Food and Beverage Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the entire operation, maintaining high standards in the team, outlets, and in the food and drinks served.
You will focus on improving service and standards for our visitors, supporting the team to build a great place to work, including recruiting, training new staff, and developing existing team members. Ensuring all relevant legislation and National Trust policies are followed is also part of your role.
Setting and achieving financial targets to increase income and profits will be key, which includes driving sales through resource control and delivering excellent customer service.
We provide an induction tailored to the role, training in allergens and food safety, and mentoring as needed. Further professional development opportunities are available if desired.
