Job Description
We are seeking a Stock Controller who will work as a member of the fast-paced stock control team in Newtownabbey. You will be part of a dynamic team delivering to a customer base across the Island of Ireland. Focusing on our ROI ambient stock portfolio, you will take responsibility for the monitoring and management of stock within our Newtownabbey warehouse. Liaising closely with various teams in our group, as well as Brand Owners and various third-party suppliers that work with us.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
* To be a main point of contact between all SHS departments and our customers, both internal and external.
* Monitor stock levels within our site through regular Physical Inventory checks.
* Maintain accurate records of stock by ensuring out of stock recording system is kept up to date.
* Keep accurate daily goods receipting of stock and goods issue of orders for both NI and ROI.
* Investigate all outstanding orders and follow up until received.
* Confirm the deliveries to our customers by imbedding a POD'ing process.
* Ensure stock queries are investigated and managed to completion, liaising with other internal teams.
* Keep customer claims in a manageable position with using our High Radius system.
* Make sure that stock loss is closely monitored and returns processed accordingly in both NI and ROI.
* Accurately write stock on when receipted into the warehouse, equally keeping deliveries accurately good issued throughout our delivery network
* Other ad hoc/admin duties as and when required.
Experience/Qualifications
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong competency in Excel and the ability to analyse and resolve problems.
* Must be able to communicate effectively and to work collaboratively with internal and external customers at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
* Proven time management skills in relation to changing workloads.
* Good organisation and prioritisation skills.
* Be a reliable team player.
* Previous experience within a supply chain network.
* Previous experience with SAP.
* Proven track record of building relationships with key business partners.
