Job Duties:
Supervise students in the absence of a teacher
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans effectively
Provide support to students with their learning activities
Maintain records of student attendance and behaviour
Required Qualifications:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience working with children or young people
Child enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to acquire one
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle challenging behaviour effectively
Basic understanding of educational principles
Organisational skills and ability to follow instructions
At least three months' recent experience working in UK education (primary, secondary or SEN sectors)
Preferred Qualifications:
(Higher Level) Teaching Assistant qualification
First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
Work in a school setting
Full-time hours during term time
Interact with students, teachers, and school staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
