Our client is an innovative manufacturing company, and they are now seeking an International Sales Manager who will be responsible for all sales for the European market. The successful candidate must be a go getter with a proven track record working with large and medium retail accounts.
Responsibilities:
* Establish relationships with toy buyers inside retail chains.
* Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
* Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
* Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders
* Ensure the timely delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
* Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal/external stakeholders
* Develop new business with existing clients and identify growth areas to meet sales quotas
* Explore and develop new business
* Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
* Prepare reports on account status
* Collaborate with management team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
* Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
* BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
* Proven success as Sales Manager, including multi-year sales growth with customers, and consistent achievement of quotas.
* Previous experience selling children's toys within a Retail environment
* Experience working with mass-market retailer in the European market
* Online savvy with a critical eye regarding online content
* Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence at all levels
* Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
* Familiar with SAP advantage but not required
* Detail oriented with experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
* Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time
* Independent, self motivated and driven, with the ability to open new opportunities.
* A creative thinker that will generate new channel of business for the company.
* Proven experience building a new sales system.
* Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
* Composed, calm, independent, easy-going personality.
* Strong work ethic, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Willingness to travel extensively across Europe as a key part of the role.
