Are you a driven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying opportunities, and closing deals? We are currently recruiting for a Sales & Business Development Executive to join a growing and innovative business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong commercial mindset who enjoys working with technical products and developing long-term customer partnerships. As a Sales & Business Development Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s growth by developing strong relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales performance. You will manage the full sales cycle while working closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service and successful outcomes for customers. Key Responsibilities - Customer Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. - Proactively contact customers to secure repeat business, identify upselling opportunities, and understand evolving needs. - Generate new sales leads and identify potential new customers. Sales Activities - Prepare and send quotations, follow up on opportunities, and close sales. - Manage the entire sales process from initial enquiry through to order confirmation. - Process customer orders using the company’s ERP system. - Coordinate the sending of product samples and follow up with customers. Marketing Collaboration Work closely with the marketing team to support and execute sales campaigns. - Maintain and update the CRM system to ensure accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities. - Liaise with the manufacturing team when required to support customer requirements and order fulfilment. About You We are looking for a motivated and resilient individual who is passionate about sales and delivering results. You will ideally have: - A sales-driven mindset with strong commercial awareness. - A performance-oriented approach, motivated by achieving and exceeding targets. - The ability to work proactively and independently. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships. - Resilience and determination, with the ability to overcome challenges and maintain momentum. - Strong organisation and time management skills. - The ability to understand and confidently sell technical products. Experience - Minimum 2 years experience in a sales role. - Experience within a technical or manufacturing-related environment would be beneficial but is not essential. Package - Up to £38,000pa - £6,000 car allowance - Commision scheme This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated sales professional to join a business where your contribution will directly support growth and success
