Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team in the United Kingdom. Based in within the South of England (Kent to Somerset would ideal) this role plays a vital part in ensuring our operations meet the highest safety standards while aligning with our mission to create a healthier and safer world.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement environmental health and safety policies in accordance with industry regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments and root cause analysis to identify potential hazards.
* Oversee incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are taken.
* Coordinate emergency response procedures, including first aid protocols.
* Prepare detailed reports on safety performance and compliance.
* Train staff on health, safety, and environmental best practices.
* Promote a culture of safety awareness across all levels of the organization.
* Qualifications
* Proven experience in environmental health and safety management within the healthcare or related industries.
* Strong knowledge of UK safety regulations and standards.
* Excellent report writing skills for documentation and compliance reporting.
* Ability to conduct root cause analysis effectively.
* First aid certification is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills and leadership qualities.
* Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
