Exposure Manager – London Market Insurer
Invecta Group is partnering exclusively with a leading London Market insurer to appoint an experienced Exposure Manager. This is a high-profile role responsible for leading and developing the firm's exposure management capability across catastrophe and man-made risks, helping optimise portfolio performance, capital allocation, and business resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the exposure management strategy in line with underwriting, reinsurance, and capital objectives
- Own accumulation management across natural catastrophe, casualty clash, cyber, and other key exposures
- Deliver exposure analytics, scenario modelling, and portfolio insights to support underwriting and reinsurance decisions
- Partner with reinsurance, actuarial, underwriting, and risk teams on portfolio optimisation and capital modelling
- Produce exposure reporting for senior management and Group stakeholder
- Develop exposure limits, controls, and monitoring frameworks
- Drive improvements in data quality, modelling capability, and exposure analytics
- Represent the business in external market and vendor model discussions
Required Experience
- Proven exposure management experience within the London Market or global (re)insurance sector
- Strong knowledge of catastrophe modelling, accumulation management, and vendor modelling platform
- Good understanding of reinsurance structures and capital modelling. Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Ability to communicate complex modelling outputs to senior stakeholders
- Collaborative approach with experience working across underwriting, actuarial, reinsurance, and risk functions
