You’ll work on a diverse range of projects, from data engineering and visualisation to impact assessments and performance monitoring, giving you hands-on experience across the full analytical lifecycle.Alongside building your technical skills, you’ll play a key role in the business by working closely with stakeholders across a customer-focused organisation. You’ll bring data to life by identifying trends, sharing insights, and delivering clear, meaningful analysis through management reports and MI, helping to shape informed decisions at every level.What will I be doing?Designing, building and delivering regular reporting to support understanding of customer behaviour and outcomesCommunicating insights clearly through both verbal updates and written reports to enable strong decision-makingInvestigating performance, model evaluation and emerging trends within a fast-paced environmentIdentifying opportunities to enhance model performance through new data sources and analytical techniquesDeveloping knowledge of predictive, forecasting and categorisation models using machine learning and cloud technologiesSupporting pricing projects by applying best-practice analytical and modelling approachesBuilding robust and accurate datasets to ensure high-quality analysis and reliable outputsCollaborating with Financial Analysts to support lifetime value modelling and wider business insightsSupporting testing and deployment of new rating structures alongside change teamsProducing impact analysis and comprehensive test data to ensure successful implementationWhat do I need?Proven experience in SQL, alongside at least one other programming language such as Python, PySpark, R or similarExperience working within cloud-based platforms such as Databricks or SnowflakeStrong communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts, trends and performance metrics clearlyAbility to work under pressure, using sound judgement to deliver accurate outputs within tight timescalesExcellent problem-solving skills, with experience applying analytical techniques to address business challengesAbility to organise, interpret and enhance data to generate meaningful insightsExperience using data visualisation tools such as Power BI or TableauUnderstanding of statistical or predictive modelling techniques, with practical application desirableDegree-level education (or higher) in a numerical or analytical subjectDemonstrated analytical experience, with ongoing application of these skills in a professional environmentAdditional informationWe’re always looking to recognise and reward our employees for the work they do.
