The role
This interim Assistant Management Accountant role will support the Management Accountant and Finance Manager throughout the month-end cycle. Key responsibilities will include posting journals, preparing accruals and prepayments, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting the production of monthly management accounts.You will also assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, cost analysis, and variance analysis, working closely with non-financial stakeholders. This role will suit someone studying at ACA, ACCA, or CIMA who is keen to develop their management accounting experience within a hands-on interim position.
What you will need to succeed
* Experience supporting or preparing management accounts
* Actively studying ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
* Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data
* Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance teams
* A proactive mindset with a willingness to suggest and implement improvements
