About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised eLearning Support Manager to oversee and enhance the delivery of our online offering. This role is central to ensuring a positive experience for our growing customer base, combining technical expertise with excellent communication skills.
You will manage the day-to-day operation of our learning management system (LMS), develop a small support team and work closely with customers and suppliers to ensure our eLearning provision is reliable, accessible, and innovative.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical and user support to customers.
* Manage the onboarding process for new customers.
* Troubleshoot issues, and liaise with external suppliers where necessary.
* Develop and deliver training sessions, guides, and resources to support effective use of the LMS.
* Work with internal designers to bring new, engaging, courses to market.
* Ensure compliance with accessibility, data protection, and institutional policies.
* Manage a small support team, setting priorities, developing skills and monitoring performance.
* Keep up to date with emerging eLearning technologies and recommend improvements.
About You
The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical skills, problem-solving ability, and people-focused support. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing operational support with forward-looking development projects.
Essential skills and experience:
* Previous experience managing or supporting an LMS (e.g., Moodle, Totara).
* Strong IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A commitment to outstanding customer service and user experience.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Desirable skills and experience:
* Line management or supervisory experience.
* Experience in a training-focused environment.
* Experience of working in, or for, the healthcare sector
* Experience delivering user training and support materials.
* Knowledge of instructional design principles and eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).
