Conveyancing Legal Secretary

We are seeking an experienced and efficient Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join our property department. This role is ideal for someone who is hardworking, has a positive attitude, and enjoys working as part of a team. The successful candidate will thrive in a pressurised environment, reacting to changing deadlines and priorities in a professional manner.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Deal with day-to-day Conveyancing administration.
* Type dictated letters, contracts, leases, and other documentation.
* Answer and make calls to clients, other solicitors, mortgage lenders, and estate agents.
* Give quotations for routine transactions.
* Prepare post-exchange and post-completion documentation.
* Prepare and submit SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.
* Complete Local Authority and other relevant pre-exchange searches.
* Handle the initial stages of Conveyancing transactions.
* Liaise directly with clients to manage expectations and provide updates on the progress of cases.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Proven audio typing skills.
* Proactive and able to work independently.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong IT proficiency.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Conveyancing role.
