Responsibilities
What you’ll do
1. Lead and motivate a team of Manufacturing Technicians coordinating day-to-day production activities, safety, quality, on-time delivery and product costs to achieve company KPI’s and targets
2. Drive continuous improvement by supporting lean initiatives including:o 5S, Kaizen and OEE
3. Maintain ISO 9001:2015 standards and support Product Quality initiatives
4. Support recruitment, training, development, performance management and annual appraisals
5. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Planning functions to enable production schedules to be met
6. Ensure safe working practices and strong housekeeping standards
Qualifications
What you’ll bring
7. Apprentice-trained or HNC/HND in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
8. Proven supervisory experience and people management skills in a precision machining environment
9. Strong CNC knowledge
10. Ability to read engineering drawings (GD&T) and inspect components
11. Confident communicator and decision maker with solid organisational and problem-solving skills

Shift Pattern:
Rotating weekly shift pattern as follows: Early Shift (Mon-Thur 06.00hrs to 14.00hrs, Friday 06.00hrs to 13.00hrs) Late Shift (Mon-Thur 13.45 hrs to 21.45, Friday 12:45 to 19:45hrs).
