We require hands-on experience with Microsoft security and compliance platforms, including Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Purview, the Microsoft Defender suite, and Entra ID. We require security operations expertise covering monitoring, triage, investigation, and incident response. We require experience using Microsoft Sentinel for advanced SIEM, SOAR, and threat detection use cases. We require experience in Identity and Access Management, including privileged access management and Zero Trust principles. We require experience in endpoint, email, and cloud threat protection using Microsoft and other security platforms. We require cloud security experience across Azure and AWS in hybrid financial environments. We require effective problem-solving skills in high-pressure operational environments. We prefer relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security. We prefer candidates committed to ongoing professional development and learning. Responsibilities: We operate and optimise core security operations tooling, including SIEM, DLP, IAM, and endpoint protection, to safeguard systems and data. We develop, implement, and monitor KPIs and dashboards to measure detection effectiveness, incident response performance, data protection posture, and compliance. We own and support Microsoft Purview capabilities, including Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention, Data Lifecycle Management, and Insider Risk Management. We support enterprise data governance frameworks and ensure alignment with FCA, GDPR, and internal data governance standards. We conduct regular risk assessments, threat hunting, and vulnerability management to identify, track, and remediate security risks across cloud, endpoint, identity, and data platforms. We collaborate with risk, compliance, data governance, and IT teams to maintain robust security controls, support audit readiness, and strengthen operational resilience. We support and participate in security incident response and investigations, ensuring rapid containment, remediation, and recovery.
